I was knitting. YouTube was there. Two worlds collided.

Hold the freakin’ phone… how did I miss that the hat I made for Jesse Cox ended up in a Co-Optional Podcast thumbnail?
This is what happens when I fall behind on episodes.

cabotcovedormouse asked:

Do you watch anything different than normal when knitting something as large as project "Stu?" Especially now that you have a deadline, so I'd think distractions must be kept to a minimum. Also, any hint you can give on what or when Stu will be made known to us?

I don’t really watch anything different. Stu is big, but the pattern is simple. Distractions aren’t really a problem. Series are good, as I tend to be sat there for at least a couple of hours at a stretch.

As for when Stu will be revealed in all its glory- I can’t say much, but I can say that it’ll be the most wonderful time of the year.

(hint, hint)

Had a bit of travel time yesterday, so I broke out the travel socks again. (The big project is a bit too ungainly to haul onto public transport right now).
I’m seeing how far I can make this particular ball of yarn go- you may recall that I’ve already finished a pair of socks with it, and there’s still heaps left.
Go, infinite yarn ball, go!

An ignoble end for the poor little flesh monster.
Also, Lewis- could you please stop saying ‘knitted’? I have no time for an additional project right now and you’re tempting me horribly. Ta.

This is just a quick note to let you guys know that this blog may be a bit light on new content for a little while. Why, you ask?

Stu- my enormous project- now has a deadline. A somewhat worrying one, at that.

I’ll be busting my butt to get it done in time, and that means that content here might get a bit sparse. Don’t worry, I’ll still be around if you want to get in contact. (You can contact me via my ask box or on Twitter).

knit a demon and use blood sacrifices to bring your unholy, yet soft and cuddly beast to life.

I’m not Parv, either.

you could knitt a person and bring them to life in a sort of frankenstein thing *lightning crackles*

Look. I know everyone is currently formulating their own theories regarding Lalnable Hector, but I’d like to nip the ‘YTK is LH’ theory in the bud right now.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I look terrible in a lab coat.
